Marissa and Taylor met in the most unexpected way. Marissa was working at Workout Anytime, and Taylor was a member there—until one day he came in to cancel his membership to try a different gym in town. By chance, Marissa was the one who helped him that day.

What began as a simple conversation quickly turned into a meaningful connection. Taylor likes to say he asked Marissa out because he had nothing to lose if she said no—but everything to gain if she said yes. Thankfully, she did.

Their first date was at The Social in Jonesboro, and from that night forward, they knew something special had begun.

Since then, they’ve been inseparable, growing together, building a life side by side, and sharing it with their beloved dogs, Ruby and Milo.
